Weekly Objectives

Literacy:Students will learn set a purpose before they read (informational text)

Social Studies: Students  will read informational text and draw upon their knowledge of how people in a (local and global) community are connected to identify action steps and make recommendations for the betterment of society.

Science: Students will begin investigating ecosystems students will identify the difference between biotic and abiotic things

Math: Students will learn various ways to multiply numbers.

Weekly Objectives

Literacy:Students  will identify the “theme” in various  fiction and non fictions short stories.

Social Studies: Students  will read informational text and draw upon their knowledge of how people in a (local and global) community are connected to identify action steps and make recommendations for the betterment of society.

Science: Students will spend one week examining nutrition facts in some of their favorite foods.

Math: Students will continue to investigate the  wonderful world of Fractions and decimal.  Students will use manipulatives, drawings, and number lines to explore fraction and decimal equivalents.
