 Weekly Objectives

Math- 4th graders will continue this week finding fraction/decimal/ percentage equivalencies. Students will have to identify and record real life examples of percentages. They will also multiply and divide decimals. On Wednesday, the students will take the Chapter 9 Test.

Literacy-The anchor text for the week will come from Journeys “The Life and Times of the Ant” pg. 353.  Students will read and understand the use of  questioning in a story.   Students will also begin to set purposes for reading. This week students will finish their classroom novels. Book Reports will be due this Friday.

Science-” Newton’ 3 laws of motion “.  4th grade students will apply three Newton’s laws of motion to relate forces, mass, and acceleration and distinguish between the three Newton’s laws of motion to their airplane models.

Social Studies- “Students will conclude their vacation planning activity. They will finalize their budget for their vacation. They will complete their poster boards and present it to their classmates on Thursday and Friday of this week.

 

Homework- Tic –Tac-Toe Due Monday
