Weekly  Objectives 

REMINDER. Classroom science fair December 18, 2014 book reports due December 19, 2014.

Literacy- Author’s Purpose/Analyze and Evaluate – 4th graders will refer to details and examples in a text when explaining what the text says explicitly and when drawing inferences from the text with an emphasis on Non-Fiction Narratives

Math- 4th graders will focus on extending multiplication skills and review the basic principles of the multiplication of multi-digit numbers.

Science- Students will continue the unit on the human body. Student will continue comparing the different functions of the muscular systems.Students will investigate the differences between the various types of muscles. Students will still continue to work on their science fair projects.

Social Studies- Students will understand the rights and responsibilities of United States citizenship. Students will also investigate how the United States economy operates.

 

Homework

Monday:  WORK ON  BOOK REPORT .  Read  Narrative Non Fiction:I Survived  the Boston Marathon”  , Study Math Times Tables.  Timed Test Friday.  Write Math Facts 5 times each Times Tables.  Timed Test Friday.. Study Links 5.5  Science- COMPLETE SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS

Tuesday:  .  WORK ON  BOOK REPORT. Tic-Tac-Toe fromI Survived  the Boston Marathon” , Study Math Write Math Facts 5 times each due Wednesday Study Links 5.6 Science- COMPLETE SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS

Wednesday:  WORK ON  BOOK REPORT.  Tic-Tac-Toe fromI Survived  the Boston Marathon” , Study Math Times Tables.  Timed Test Friday.  Write Math Facts 5 times each due Thursday. Study Links 5.7.  Science- COMPLETE SCIENCE FAIR PROJECTS
